Revolutionary window manager

Greetings beloved readers!

This stuff is so awesome that as you can see, it even determined me to blog about it. Play some awesome music, hold tight in your chair and watch this:

Here are a few points

  • you can click on empty space to launch new apps
  • only close buttons on windows
  • color coded windows
  • window headers don’t overlap, so no need for a panel to list all open windows
  • maximizing a window makes the panel blend in nicely with the window
  • very cool way of minimizing applications or move them to other workspaces
  • easy to look behind maximized windows
  • nicely animated
  • damn intuitive
  • low learning curve
  • a pleasure to use for sure!

Keep in mind this is only a mockup, but should be doable with compiz more or less.

I really hope GNOME3 will look like that, or that KDE4 will have a setup like that… OR… even see something built from scratch, as long as it does the job.

Fav it, rate it, share it, comment it; you can also find it on Gnome-look.org

Hope you enjoy it as much as I do! ;)
